A note on our service locations:
The city's of San Leandro, Walnut Creek, and Hercules are all located at the edge of areas we are logistically able to serve. If you are located in any of these areas, please feel free to reach out, but depending on the exact project location and site access we may not be able to accept your project. We do not currently serve the San Francisco Area.
How much does it cost?
We understand this is an important question, and our goal is to make sure you feel confident about how your investment is going to translate into a completed project. We've created a separate resource page to break down cost considerations so you can plan accordingly.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes. We work with a third-party company called Hearth to provide flexible financing options for our clients.
Will you do design only?
No. We design everything with the intention of installing.
How long does the design process take?
Depending on our schedule, the design process may take anywhere from 6-10 weeks. Smaller planting-only projects may require less time, and a more complex project may take longer. The length of the concept design phase also depends on our clients' schedules. Some people make decisions quickly and others need more time. In either case, we do our best to accommodate the timeline our clients are looking for and we will be transparent if we think a timeline is unrealistic.
Will you do installation only?
We will provide install-only services for smaller projects that do not require a design, such as an irrigation installation or a lawn replacement. However, if you currently have a design and are looking for installation, we still require a site assessment and minor design revisions (as needed) to ensure the site plans are sufficiently detailed for us to accurately bid the project.
Do you offer maintenance services?
As opposed to traditional maintenance services focused primarily on weed removal and basic pruning/mowing, we offer a Garden Stewardship program aimed at provided a higher level care. Our focus is more on ecosystem and edible garden management where we take care of things such as pruning fruit trees, rotating seasonal veggies, building soil structure, developing integrated pest management strategies, making small design revisions to your garden over time, and trouble-shooting irrigation issues.
